About the Course

In this self-paced course, you’ll learn how large language models actually work, how to ask for what you really need, and how to turn messy AI replies into useful drafts you can trust. Meet Your Instructor

I’m Lynn—an educator, writer, and strategist with more than fifteen years of experience helping people make sense of complex ideas. My background includes years in the classroom as a mathematics instructor, along with extensive work creating content and managing projects for schools and nonprofits. When AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini began to emerge, I approached them the same way I approached teaching: by focusing on how they actually work and what leads to usable results. Through hands-on practice, I’ve seen where people tend to get stuck, why AI often feels frustrating, and how small shifts in how you frame a task can make a meaningful difference. My work across education and professional team environments has reinforced a simple idea: AI isn’t magic, and it isn’t a replacement for human thinking. It’s a tool that works best when you understand its strengths and limits and know how to guide it with intention. My goal in this course is to help you work with AI more thoughtfully and effectively, so it becomes a reliable support in your everyday work.
